Embrace beauty and neatness in your world, to achieve happiness.

Embrace the beauty

I was discussing in another article of mine, You are beautiful just the way you are, about the natural potential of beauty found in every corner of nature, and how to reveal the inner beauty. In this article, I would like to emphasize the importance of having beauty around us, as it has the power to elevate our state and bring happiness into the moment.

Beauty and harmony are intertwined. We all appreciate the presence of beauty in our surrounding, yet we often forget that when something is beautiful, it means that someone gave it the right attention and time. Originating from the divine and sustained by us the Children of God.  Even when we don’t actively seek it, our innate perception can still capture its essence.

What happens when things are beautiful and in a good alchemy?

It’s no secret that we are naturally drawn to exquisite beauty in people, landscapes, and surfaces. When we encounter such beauty, our hearts open, and we become more receptive to the world around us. This phenomenon is evident even in everyday experiences, such as scrolling through social media: when we come across an ad featuring a beautiful face, we instinctively pause to see what it’s about.

What happens when things are not beautiful or not in order?

A messy room, for example, will create thoughts in one’s mind. The messier the room is, the more thoughts we will have. The thoughts will lead to many other thoughts, and will perhaps create some action items, and will eventually distract us from being present to the current moment.

Even if we don’t have the perfect grass or the newest cupboard, even if one cannot afford to buy new things, organizing is free. Learning to be organized is a skill that we can learn easily.

Here are some simple actions we can take to be more organized and create a neat impression:

  1. Sorting by category is incredibly helpful as it allows one to find things more easily. That’s what our brain does constantly without any intention or effort.
  2. When sorting is done, get accustomed to putting things back in their place.
  3. If something needs repair/maintenance/clean up, try to give it the ultimate solution and avoid as much as possible temporary solutions. For example, if the bathroom lacks proper ventilation, mold can accumulate. Ensure to ventilate the room adequately after each shower to save considerable cleaning time later on.
  4. If you’re short on time to organize, stack similar items together so you can access them later when you have time to sort through them. Store them neatly in the closet. This helps maintain a more organized appearance in the room, avoiding visible piles or scattered items.
  5. Clean windows leave a lasting impression as they are highly visible. The simplest way to achieve this is with water, a drop of soap, and, most importantly, a clean towel. There’s no need to purchase special products for window cleaning.
  6. Just as the cells in our body regenerate, it’s essential to regularly clear out old items and maintain fresh energy in our surroundings. Choose a neglected corner of your house, declutter it, and then reorganize the space. You’ll be amazed at how many unnecessary things you can discard, creating room for new energy to flow and circulate throughout the room.

Try these tips and I am sure you won’t be disappointed!
